Back in the fall of 2020, I met Angie and David during an extended family session. Angie’s sister, Veronica, had hired me to photograph their immediate family. Before arriving at the session, we passed each other on the one-lane road and I almost hit them! Eek! What an introduction! After I apologized for the close call, we made our introductions. They were the first of the family to arrive, so we started talking. I asked how long they had been dating and they told me they had just gotten engaged. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to use the time before everyone else arrived to take some engagement photos!
Fast forward to May 2022. Angie reached out to me asking if I would be their wedding photographer. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity! They had gotten married the year before but now wanted to celebrate with all their friends and family. She also asked if we could “redo” their engagement photos. This was a no-brainer for me because we only spent 5 minutes taking them before. We got to meet up again in July at Lake Skinner, which is near Temecula Wine Country.
Next up…getting closer to the water and an outfit change. We couldn’t get too close to the water, though, because the gnats were EVERYWHERE! Angie’s pink dress was perfect for her. I fell in love with it!
Angie and David’s engagement session was so much fun. They weren’t afraid to get a little silly and try things that were out of their comfort zone once I told them, “Believe me, it feels weird, but it turns out amazing!” Up next, their wedding!
